About Jacob Harker
Jacob Harker spent over a year in two Bay Area Public Defender’s Offices prior to opening his own practice. Although he focused on criminal law during law school, he quickly began to expand into a variety of practice areas.
It was his experience at the Public Defender’s Offices that opened his eyes to the fact that so many individuals are in need of legal representation, but cannot afford the exorbitant rates traditionally charged by law firms and sole practitioners.
The economic woes of the past year have put a toll on everyone. Significantly, many of the mega-firms are buckling under their own weight and inefficiency. In fact, the entire legal landscape is changing with every minute.
Mr. Harker has set up and run his practice in a cost-effective and practical manner. He has done so in an effort to pass on the savings to his clients. Mr. Harker sees his practice as taking the lead in a new era of legal services.
The Law Offices of Jacob Harker is a general law practice. Mr. Harker never charges for an initial legal consultation and is eager to discuss any legal matter.
